Recognized for his service in education, Officer Rob leaves behind a legacy of interactions that extended beyond the normal scope of police work; he aimed to foster understanding and trust among the youth, a mission he carried into every classroom and hallway encounter – his approach, though, not one to rest on laurels or seek accolades, has nonetheless garnered respect from colleagues and the community alike which was evident when Eden Prairie PD took to social media to honor him with the simple message: "Congrats on Your Retirement Officer Rob!"
