
The Department of Water and Hawaiian Dredging Construction Company, Inc. have extended lane closures on Puʻuwai Road and Poʻohiwi Road for ongoing waterline work. Intermittent closures are expected to continue over the coming months, according to the County of Kauai.
The intersection of Kikala Road and Puʻuwai Road will remain affected until July 1. Lane closures along Poʻohiwi Road, as well as at its intersection with Puʻuwai Road, are scheduled to continue through September 30. In addition, the gravel portion of Puʻuwai Road is slated for closure until October 29. Motorists are advised to plan accordingly, as reported by the County of Kauai.
Kalāheo will have lane closures as part of a water system upgrade project, weather permitting. Drivers are advised to follow posted signs and instructions from flaggers.
