Yesterday afternoon, a disturbance that jolted a Kentwood neighborhood resulted in four individuals being taken into custody following a shooting that thankfully resulted in no gunshot injuries. FOX 17 reported that officers arrived on the scene at Carriage Hill Drive near the intersection of 60th Street and Kalamazoo Avenue after 1 p.m., where they discovered numerous shell casings and objects pierced by bullets. The quick response of the Kentwood Police Department, assisted by additional agencies, was crucial in apprehending the perpetrators and potentially preventing further harm.
The situation escalated when a vehicle, reportedly involved in the shooting, crashed into another car. This collision led to an individual being injured, marking the only reported casualty in the chaos. Police have managed to recover several weapons in the investigation and are continuing to work to comprehend fully the events that transpired.
