
On Sunday in Galt, a routine traffic stop led to the arrest of Robert Guerrero-Regidor, who had an active out-of-county felony warrant for sex offenses with bail set at $300,000. Officers also found illegal weapons and suspected narcotics in his possession, as reported by the Galt Police Department.
During a search of Guerrero-Regidor’s vehicle, officers found a loaded short-barrel rifle, a loaded Glock handgun with an extended magazine, additional ammunition, and more suspected narcotics. Guerrero-Regidor was arrested on an outstanding warrant, as well as on multiple weapons charges and possession of a controlled substance while armed. He was booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail, as stated by the Galt Police Department.
According to the Galt Police Department on their Facebook page, a recent traffic stop led to the arrest of Guerrero-Regidor, who now faces serious charges related to illegal weapons and narcotics. The department stated, "This case is a strong reminder of how proactive policing can remove dangerous subjects and illegal weapons/narcotics from our community."
