Two individuals are recuperating after a shooting episode that shook a Gastonia community on Saturday night, with local law enforcement actively investigating the circumstances that led to the violence.
The Gastonia Police were summoned to the 1100 block of Spencer Avenue, near Linwood Road and West Garrison Boulevard, at approximately 8:10 p.m. finding two adults with gunshot wounds, both victims were quickly attended to and transported to a hospital where they are expected to recover from non-life-threatening injuries, this according to details from a WBTV report and similarly echoed by a QC News article.
In connection to the violent outbreak, police arrested 32-year-old Christian Michelle Cash along with 36-year-old Ricky Lamar Judge, the former faces several charges including two counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury shooting into an occupied dwelling, and illegal possession of a firearm, while the latter is charged with similar counts of assault and shooting into an occupied property, these details were confirmed by both WCNC and previous sources.
