The long-anticipated Bachman Lake Skatepark is set to make its debut, heralding a dynamic addition to the city’s outdoor recreational offerings. Scheduled for an official unveiling on Saturday, this is no ordinary concrete installation. Delivered by the Dallas Park and Recreation Department, the skatepark is designed to accommodate a wide range of users, whether on skateboards, scooters, rollerblades, or BMX bikes.
The City of Dallas has confirmed the grand opening of the facility, which encompasses an impressive 45,600 square feet of ramps, rails, and bowls.
Design excellence is at the forefront of this project, reflecting a commitment not only to functionality but also to aesthetic and enduring value. Touted as a space “professionally designed by skaters for skaters,” the park incorporates features that cater to users of all skill levels.
Excitement continues to build as enthusiasts look forward to exploring the Street Scape Area, Flow Bowl, Snake Run, and Pool Bowl—each thoughtfully spaced to ensure an optimal riding experience.
