
The Glendale Police Department has appealed to the public for assistance following a mass shooting that has left our community rattled. In the search for answers, officials have released images of three individuals identified as persons of interest in the tragic event that unfolded last Monday, May 4, at El Camaron Gigante Mariscos & Steakhouse. As provided by FOX 10 Phoenix, the police clarified that "these individuals are persons of interest, NOT SUSPECTS, and we believe they may have vital information important to this case."
The carnage occurred around 7:45 p.m. near SR 51 and 57th Avenue, during what was meant to be an evening of music and automobiles. According to ABC15, a fight broke out inside the venue amidst a concert and car show, leading to at least two groups being ejected from the premises. It was in the parking lot where the situation escalated and shots were fired, leaving three people dead and five others wounded.
Glendale police have noted the involvement of multiple shooters in this deadly incident, and the suspects remain at large. Efforts to piece together the night's events are ongoing, and authorities are sifting through the chaos in the hopes of bringing those responsible to justice. The shooting has undoubtedly cast a long shadow over the area, with the community seeking closure and safety.
