Celebrating a string of accolades, Texas was recognized for its top-notch business environment, workforce, and general quality of life, leading to the state being awarded the Best State for Business title for the 21st year in a row by Chief Executive magazine.
Not stopping there, Governor Abbott's office recently released a comprehensive five-year economic development strategy aiming to lay down the plans for sustained growth and job creation. This strategy is deemed as a blueprint for ensuring Texas remains at the forefront of being an ideal place to live, work, and visit. As the Texas Economic Development & Tourism Office (EDT) leads marketing and promotional efforts, the strategic plan positions Texas as a flagship for business and tourism, aiming to attract more investors and visitors.
Under the leadership of Governor Abbott, the EDT collaborates with community leaders and state agencies to ensure that Texas’s reputation as a premier destination for both business and leisure extends beyond state borders and resonates globally. As a result of these initiatives, Site Selection magazine recently awarded Texas the 2025 Prosperity Cup, recognizing the state as a leading destination for business investment and bestowing the prestigious “Triple Crown Trophy” for having the strongest economy in the nation.
