The city of Grand Rapids is grappling with another act of gun violence after the shooting death of 31-year-old Montaness Lowe. According to the News Channel 3 report, Lowe was shot around 1:30 a.m. last Friday on Wealthy Street SE near Giddings Avenue SE and later succumbed to his injuries at a local hospital.
Details are still limited, but the Grand Rapids Police have confirmed the case is a homicide after an autopsy by the Kent County Medical Examiner, according to an MLive article. Investigators are asking witnesses or anyone with information to come forward. So far, no suspects or motives have been identified.
