
Authorities in Gwinnett County have escalated their search for Frederick Taylor, 39, the suspect involved in the murder of Tiffany Trim, a 35-year-old postal worker found dead in her home last month. WSBTV reports that the police were alerted to the incident on April 30 after a distressing call from a child, claiming someone had been shot in the house. Arriving officers discovered Trim's body and two unharmed children who stated that the assailant, now identified as Taylor, had fled the scene.
The investigation has revealed that Taylor, who remains at large, faces serious charges including felony murder, aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, as per the warrants issued against him. Taylor's connection to the victim is still under question, but it has been confirmed they were acquainted FOX 5 Atlanta reveals.
During the tragic occurrence which left the local community reeling, Trim was arguedly involved in a domestic dispute that escalated to violence, placing her life to its untimely end "There was some kind of domestic argument between them," Gwinnett County Police Department's Cpl. Ryan Winderweedle described the scene, "It ended up in violence and ended up with the victim deceased." Trim's friend and roommate, Mikah Akech, shared the devastating impact of the loss, expressing a profound grieving process, "It’s not a day where I don’t wake up crying or I don’t go to bed crying," Akech conveyed to FOX 5 Atlanta.
