Today, deputies from Constable Mark Herman's office arrested Darius Davis for Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) and unlawful carry of a weapon in the 8800 block of FM 1960 Bypass Rd W.
According to Mark Herman, Harris County Constable Precinct 4's Facebook post, Davis, a repeat offender with two previous DWI convictions, showed signs of intoxication during the traffic stop and refused to cooperate with Standardized Field Sobriety Tests. A weapon was found in his vehicle during the search, and a blood specimen warrant was obtained to confirm his impairment.
Davis was arrested and booked into Harris County Jail. The details of his bond and court proceedings are still pending. The Constable's office continues to use the C4 NOW app to keep the community updated on local incidents, including crime and emergencies.
