The search is underway for 25-year-old Kawika Makahanaloa from Captain Cook, who has been missing since April 27. Hawaiʻi Island police are asking the public for help in locating him. He was last seen on the 78-6700 block of Makolea Street in Kailua-Kona, according to the Hawaii Police Department.
On the day of his disappearance, Makahanaloa was wearing a black hat, black shirt, and black pants. Police describe him as a Hawaiian man with a brown complexion, 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing 160 pounds, with short black hair and brown eyes, as reported by the Hawaii Police Department.
