On Wednesday, Henderson police responded to a shooting on the 1200 block of Imperia Drive. They found a 53-year-old woman fatally shot and a 74-year-old man with a handgun. A male died from self-inflicted injuries despite being quickly transported to a local hospital. Responding officers found the aftermath of the incident, which is being investigated by Henderson Detectives as an apparent murder-suicide, according to the City of Henderson.
The names of the two deceased individuals have not been released as the Clark County Coroner's Office works to notify their next of kin. The official cause and manner of death will be determined after the investigation is complete.
