Mark your calendars for a day of family fun and learning as the City of Hickory Parks, Recreation & Sports Tourism Department teams up with the Hickory Police Department to bring the annual Bike Safety Rodeo to the community. The free event, which is set to take place at the Hickory Elks Lodge from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., features a variety of activities including a bike safety skills course, engaging bicycle games, and the opportunity for personal bikes to be safety-tested by the expert hands of Hickory police officers. The announcement, published on Hickory's official website, also welcomes additional partners such as the Hickory Velo Club and Hickory Elks Lodge 1654, thus fostering a spirit of community involvement.
