
On Sunday, the Honolulu Fire Department responded to a residential fire at 5371 Edgewater Drive in Ewa Beach. According to the Honolulu Fire Department, ten units and 35 personnel were sent to the scene. Firefighters secured a water source and began a defensive operation. The fire was reported under control by 7:02 p.m.
Firefighters responded to a residential fire where all occupants had safely exited the home. Emergency Medical Services evaluated four individuals at the scene. Three declined further treatment, and one was transported to The Queen’s Medical Center – West Oahu. The Honolulu Fire Department stated the fire was fully extinguished just before 8 p.m.
The Honolulu Fire Department reported that a fire displaced four residents, and the American Red Cross is assisting them. No injuries were reported among firefighters. An investigation is underway to determine the cause and the extent of the damage. No damage estimates have been released yet.
