According to Sergeant C. Prejean of the Houston Police Department’s Vehicular Crimes Division, officers found a man lying in the street with injuries that suggested he had been hit by a vehicle. They responded to a report and called for paramedics right away. The man was taken to a nearby hospital, where he died a week later.
