A week after a serious auto-pedestrian crash on Bellaire Boulevard, a male victim, whose identity remains private pending family notification, has succumbed to his injuries. The accident occurred on May 16 at the 10400 block of Bellaire Boulevard and the man, aged 62, died today, confirmed by the City of Houston officials.
According to Sergeant C. Prejean of the Houston Police Department’s Vehicular Crimes Division, officers found a man lying in the street with injuries that suggested he had been hit by a vehicle. They responded to a report and called for paramedics right away. The man was taken to a nearby hospital, where he died a week later. So far, police have not shared any information about the vehicle involved, as reported by the City of Houston.
