A man was fatally shot last Saturday at 900 Lucky Street, and Houston police are currently piecing together the circumstances of his death. According to a press release from the Houston Police Department, the incident occurred around 2 a.m. and the victim, a 48-year-old male whose name has not yet been released pending identification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives E. Torres and A. Graf are investigating the shooting and the release detailed that the officers responded to the hospital after the victim was pronounced dead and that they learned the victim had been shot multiple times after a physical altercation at the Lucky Street location, the suspect fled on foot after the shooting, and as of now no one is in custody and the investigation is ongoing. The authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward either by contacting the HPD Homicide Division directly or by providing anonymous tips to Crime Stoppers.
