Houston police are stepping up the search for an armed suspect who robbed a convenience store earlier this year. On February 10, the suspect entered a store on Quitman Street, pointed a gun at the employee, and stole cash and the store’s safe. Houston Police Department shared the details on their website.
The suspect, a Black male wearing all black, carried out a bold late-night robbery. According to the Houston Police Department, he demanded money from the register and the code to the safe. When the clerk couldn’t give the code, the suspect grabbed the entire safe and left. He escaped in a dark-colored sedan.
The Houston Police Department is asking the public for help to find the suspect. Crime Stoppers of Houston is offering up to $5,000 for tips that lead to an arrest or charges.
