
The Houston Police Department is seeking public assistance in identifying suspects involved in a robbery at a game room on the 1300 block of Garland on the night of February 4. During the incident, a security guard was shot and injured.
According to the Houston Police Robbery Division release, one suspect entered the game room posing as a customer and then allowed three armed accomplices inside. One suspect shot a security guard, while another demanded money from an employee. The group also loaded gaming machines into a U-Haul truck driven by a fourth suspect.
Police have released descriptions of the suspects: the first is a Hispanic male named Juan; the second and third are Black males; the fourth is a Hispanic male who drove the U-Haul. All four fled the scene after the robbery.
Crime Stoppers of Houston is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to the charging or arrest of any suspects involved. Tips can be submitted anonymously by calling 713-222-TIPS (8477), online, or through the Crime Stoppers mobile app.
The security guard was taken to the hospital and is expected to recover. The Houston Police Department continues to investigate the case and encourages anyone with relevant information to come forward.
