Authorities are on the lookout for suspects tied to a string of robberies across North Houston. The Houston Police Department has issued an appeal to the public for help in identifying the perpetrators of at least six heists, executed with an unsettling blend of boldness and precision.
The most recent incident occurred last Friday at a fast-food joint on the 1100 block of Rankin, where three male suspects masquerading as customers threatened an employee before filching the cash register. According to the Houston Police Department's Robbery Division, the same trio is believed to have carried out similar thefts at various establishments over the preceding days, including a cell phone store on Tidwell and a bakery on Airline.
The descriptions provided by the police sketch a trio of young males, all in their teens, decked in dark clothes, with one notably carrying a blue backpack. "Suspect #1: Black male, teens, black hoodie, tan shorts. Suspect #2: Black male, teens, black hoodie and black shorts and blue backpack. Suspect #3: Black male, teens, black long sleeve shirt and black pants," detailed the Houston Police Department.
Crime Stoppers of Houston has urged anyone with any information pertinent to these crimes to step forward.
