
As nearly a year has passed since the tragic shooting at The Mall in Columbia, Howard County Police and U.S. Marshals are intensifying their efforts to capture 18-year-old William Thomas Marshall III, the suspect charged with first-degree murder. In an ongoing investigation that echoes through the community, Marshall remains elusive after the July 27, 2024, incident that left 17-year-old Angelo Little dead inside the mall's food court. According to FOX Baltimore's report, the police are still piecing together the events of that day and asking the public to contribute any information they may have on Marshall's whereabouts.
Additional details provided by authorities include a description of the suspect at the time of the incident, wearing a hooded sweatshirt and a mask concealing his face, initially leaving the images with no distinguishable features. A young Black man, described by witnesses as being in his teens or 20s, of a small stature, and donned in dark clothing, is the subject of an extensive manhunt. Howard County police have upped the ante with a $30,000 reward for information leading to Marshall's capture, as emphasized by WBALTV.
