A Silver Alert has been issued by Howard County police and the Maryland State Police, seeking assistance from the public to locate 78-year-old Bruno Rudaitis, a Woodbine resident reported missing since May 30. Rudaitis, described as a white male, approximately 5-foot-11, 172 pounds, and bald, has not returned home since leaving his residence in the 15500 block of Foxpaw Trail around 11 a.m. in a 2007 silver Hyundai Sonata, with Maryland tags MD/5FAN69, according to an announcement provided by the Howard County.
Concerns for Rudaitis' wellbeing are particularly heightened due to his age-related health concerns. A family member sounded the alarm at 8:45 p.m. yesterday after Rudaitis had failed to return and could not be contacted.
The police were prompted to issue the Silver Alert quickly, but his intended destination, as well as the direction he traveled, currently remain unknown. Police are advising anyone who sees Rudaitis or his vehicle not to hesitate and immediately call 911.
