
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office has issued an urgent appeal to the public for assistance in locating 48-year-old Stacey Lynn Talmadge, who has been reported missing since last night. In a recent social media post, authorities shared that Talmadge was last seen around 10 p.m. in the Fairfield area of Jacksonville, specifically on 8th Street. The search commenced early this morning, following a call to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office at approximately 6:30 a.m.
Officials provided a description of Ms. Talmadge, seen last wearing an orange long-sleeved shirt paired with green hospital scrubs. Talmadge, whose height is 5’8” with brown hair and eyes, has a diagnosed developmental disability and Autistic, which may add a layer of urgency to the search efforts. It is also noted that she walks with a forward lean, a distinctive characteristic that might aid in her identification.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is exhausting all resources to locate Ms. Talmadge and ensure her safe return. "Our team is working diligently to bring her home safely," reported the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office in the Facebook post. They have encouraged the community to play a role in the search by examining their personal surveillance footage for any sign of Talmadge's movements and to report any relevant findings or sightings.
