
The Wisconsin Association of School Boards (WASB) has appointed Supervisor Kathleen Vincent as the Region 11 Director. Vincent brings over 35 years of classroom teaching experience and active involvement in school board service.
According to a release by the Milwaukee County Board of Supervisors, Vincent stated: ““My goal in this position is to lean into innovation, collaboration, and connection across our diverse communities. I’m looking forward to bringing people together to share best practices, elevate student success, and support the work of our local school boards.”
In addition to her role with WASB, Vincent serves as an advisor to the Milwaukee County Youth Commission, where she works with young people involved in civic leadership. She has achieved WASB’s Member Recognition Level 5, awarded for extensive hours in professional development and community engagement across the state.
As Region 11 Director, Vincent will help coordinate educational efforts across a range of school districts, including rural, suburban, and urban communities. Her responsibilities will include leading initiatives that support public education and student achievement throughout Wisconsin.
WASB has identified collaboration and innovation as key priorities in this new phase of leadership.
