According to a WFTV report, she opted to receive her lottery winnings in a single lump-sum payment, amounting to $1,195,000.00 before taxes.

Irlo Bronson Highway in Kissimmee, where Silva bought her ticket, has to quickly accept their role in this now-told tale of instantaneous wealth. WFTV noted that the local retailer was awarded a $4,000 bonus commission for selling the winning ticket—a small windfall in contrast to Silva's, but a welcome boost nonetheless.
