
A tenant shot and killed his landlord during an eviction dispute in northwest Las Vegas. Police responded to a shooting on North Campbell Road near Fort Apache and Gowan Road. The victim was found inside the home with multiple gunshot wounds, according to FOX5 Vegas.
A shooting took place in a home where four people lived. The incident began when a landlord tried to evict a tenant, leading to a confrontation. During the altercation, the tenant pulled out a weapon and shot the landlord. "The suspect was located and taken into custody," FOX5 Vegas reported. Road closures were expected for several hours following the incident.
Homicide detectives are investigating a fatal shooting at a residence where one person was pronounced dead at the scene. Lieutenant Robert Price stated, "The suspect became angry, pulled out a gun, and shot the victim several times," as mentioned by 8 News Now. Responding officers secured the area and attempted to assist the victim. Two other roommates were present during the incident—one likely inside the residence and another in the yard—and have been accounted for. The names of those involved have not been released, pending notification of next of kin.
