Two men were stabbed inside a house on Pawnee Drive. The incident occurred on Tuesday at around 12:19 p.m. When officers arrived, they detained 41-year-old Roger Peralta, who was identified by a witness as being involved in the stabbings, as reported by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
One man was transported to Sunrise Hospital and is in stable condition. The other man died at the scene. According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, Peralta arrived at the home upset with one of the victims. The argument escalated into a physical confrontation in the front yard, and Peralta then pulled out a knife and attacked both men.
Homicide detectives are investigating an incident in which Peralta fatally attacked a second victim who tried to intervene. Peralta was arrested and is facing charges of Open Murder with a Deadly Weapon and Attempt Murder with a Deadly Weapon. The Clark County Coroner's Office will release the identity of the deceased and the official cause of death. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is asking anyone with information to contact the Homicide Section or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
