
Las Vegas police are searching for a suspect after a robbery in the east valley. Last Saturday, just before 5 p.m., a woman committed theft and assaulted an employee at a store near Nellis and Charleston Boulevard. When a store clerk confronted her, she punched and choked the clerk before leaving, as reported by FOX5 Vegas.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is asking for the public’s help to find a woman involved in a crime. She is a Black female, about 20 to 25 years old, between 5 feet and 5 feet 6 inches tall, and weighs around 140 pounds. She was last seen wearing a black bonnet, sunglasses, a black shirt, blue shorts, yellow or cream-colored shoes, and carrying a brown purse, as detailed by News3LV.
Both news outlets have requested that anyone with information about the recent Las Vegas assault or suspect contact the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s Commercial Robbery Section at (702) 828-3591, or Crime Stoppers anonymously at (702) 385-5555. The police are reviewing surveillance footage, interviewing witnesses, and examining evidence. Tips leading to an arrest may qualify for a cash reward.
