
State Routes 159 and 160 will have closures and restrictions on Sunday, for the L'Etape Las Vegas by Tour De France cycling event. The closures are to ensure the safety of participants in the race, according to the Nevada Department of Transportation.
SR-159 (W. Charleston Blvd./Red Rock Canyon Rd) will be closed from 4:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. between Desert Foothills Dr. and SR-160. Westbound SR-160 will also be closed from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. between the SR-159 junction and mile marker 27. Police escorts will guide residents through the area, but access to the scenic loop and hiking trails will be unavailable. Traffic will be managed by law enforcement, and delays are expected, as reported by the Nevada Department of Transportation.
