The pattern of foggy evenings and nights will continue with patchy fog setting in after 11:00 pm tonight and carrying over to Friday morning, after which residents can expect mostly sunny conditions with highs soaring up to near 84 degrees. A southwest wind of around 5 mph is expected to become calm again in the evening.
For those looking to bask in warmer weather, Saturday will not disappoint with the National Weather Service forecasting a sunny high of 87 degrees. However, at night, there will be patchy fog, adding a mostly cloudy veil to the city until Sunday morning.
Heading into the new week, the anticipated break in the warmth arrives with partly sunny skies and temperatures dipping to a high near 72 on Monday, trailing off to a cooler high of 68 by Tuesday. The evenings follow suit, cooling down to lows in the mid to low 50s throughout the early week.
