A road rage incident escalated into violence when a man, identified as Arturo Villarreal, allegedly rammed his vehicle into another car at the Dollar Tree parking lot located at 100 block of East Louetta Road. According to Facebok page by the Harris County Constable Precinct 4, the confrontation happened after a quarrel that led to the complainant throwing a burrito at Villarreal's car last Friday.
An immediate response from deputies resulted in Villarreal's detention, where he was with his one and 17-year-old granddaughters at the time. Following the initial skirmish in the parking lot, Villarreal allegedly executed a U-turn and deliberately drove into the other driver's vehicle, causing significant damage. Constable Mark Herman's statement indicated that "Arturo Villarreal was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon," as reported by the Harris County Constable Precinct 4.
The heated exchange and subsequent attack raise concerns about road rage incidents and their potential to suddenly turn harmful, even in seemingly mundane environments like store parking lots. Villarreal's bond was reportedly, set at $7,500.00 out of the 179th District Court, as per the Harris County Constable Precinct 4.
