Montgomery County Sheriff's Office's SWAT team located and detained Oneal in Conroe, he was charged with felony injury to the elderly and misdemeanor criminal mischief.
Oneal, who was previously jailed in Montgomery County and released less than three weeks prior to the event, was recognized from security footage by detention officers. When apprehended by law enforcement, Oneal claimed that his actions were the result of just a "bad day." "woke up angry and was having a bad day," he reportedly said to detectives, as reported by KHOU.
Montgomery County Sheriff Wesley Doolittle offered a stern response to Oneal's explanation, stating, "We all have bad days, but this kind of criminal behavior against our facilities, our citizens, and the men and women who serve this county will not be tolerated."
