
A man has been detained following an attempted sexual assault at the Cypress Creek Hike and Bike Trail in Spring. According to Click2Houston, Rodney Stubblefield, age 24, allegedly tried to coerce a woman into having sexual intercourse with him while she was actively trying to push him away.
Officials from Harris County Precinct 4 responded to the incident on Tuesday. While trying to sexually assault the woman, the suspect was apprehended, as reported in the release by Harris County Constable Precinct 4, despite the woman's resistance.
"Further investigation revealed he was attempting to force the victim to have sexual intercourse with him while she was attempting to push him away," stated the report by Harris County Precinct 4, which was instrumental in the suspect's capture. Stubblefield now faces charges of attempted aggravated sexual assault and is being held in Harris County Jail.
The official Facebook page of Harris County Precinct 4 also provided details on the incident, noting, "Rodney Stubblefield was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Attempted Aggravated Sexual Assault.
