
The Long Beach Police Department has reported a shooting that resulted in a homicide in the early morning on Harding Street. According to details shared by ABC7, officers were dispatched at around 5:30 a.m. to the scene where they found a man shot and killed outside a home, near a silver sedan riddled with bullet holes. The incident took place near Cherry Avenue, and several evidence markers suggested that three to four shots had been fired.
The identity of the victim and information on the suspect remain unknown as the investigation is still in progress. Per a report from FOX LA, the victim died at the scene from a gunshot wound to his upper body. The lack of a visible weapon next to the victim or anywhere at the crime scene deepens the mystery of this early morning tragedy.

They received reports of the incident at approximately 5:16 a.m. and responded to the 2000 block of Harding Street. Upon their arrival, they encountered the male victim already succumbed to his injuries, as fire department personnel confirmed his death.
