Early Monday morning, a man was found with multiple stab wounds on the West Side of San Antonio, prompting an ongoing investigation by local authorities. The police initially visited a home on Southwest 36th Street near U.S. Highway 90 on Sunday afternoon for an aggravated assault report but found no evidence of a crime. They were called again, just after 2 a.m. today, it was then, they discovered the injured man. The man's current condition is stable, following hospitalization, according to FOX San Antonio.
The San Antonio Police Department continued to search for clues after police received an early morning call to the same address. As reported by KENS 5, the call which came in around 2:18 a.m. led to the discovery of the man, who had sustained several cuts. Instead of finding the victim in the first police response, it was a subsequent EMS call that led to the traumatic finding. The victim was quickly transported to University Hospital to receive urgent medical attention.
The SAPD has not released any information regarding potential suspects or motives for the attack, and details on the events leading up to the stabbing remain sparse.
