
A shooting in Manhattan's East Harlem neighborhood left a 41-year-old man injured last Tuesday. The NYPD is seeking the public's help in identifying a suspect wanted for attempted murder after a verbal altercation escalated into gunfire.
The incident occurred around 10:45 a.m. near East 116 Street and Pleasant Avenue. After exchanging words with the victim, the suspect proceeded to discharge a firearm multiple times, according to a social media post released by NYPD Crimestoppers.
In the pursuit of the suspect, law enforcement has asked for anyone with information about the shooter or the incident to come forward. Tips can be submitted anonymously to Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-577-TIPS (8477), or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
