A stabbing on the corner of 2nd Street and Adams Street in Mankato has left an 18-year-old male with serious injuries, though he is now in stable condition after making his own way to the hospital. The City of Mankato, Minnesota Government relayed through a social media post that the incident occurred on Sunday, at approximately 7:37 p.m.
In response to the incident, Mankato police apprehended a 16-year-old juvenile male, who is believed to be connected to the stabbing. As of now, authorities are not seeking additional suspects, the investigation, it remains active, as reported by the City of Mankato, Minnesota Government.
Local law enforcement is calling on anyone with information or potential video surveillance that could shed light on the situation to come forward and contact them through the emergency number 911.
