As summer approaches, Marysville residents are gearing up for seasonal fun at the Spray Park in Comeford Park. The beloved water playground is set to open Memorial Day weekend, offering a much-needed escape from the heat with an array of aquatic features. Opening day is scheduled for Saturday, May 24, with festivities kicking off at 11 a.m., as reported by the City of Marysville's official announcement.
Designed for children and families to sit back and enjoy, the park includes water jets, spray cannons that are dueling with each other, and rotating sprinklers, among other water attractions. With its daily hours set from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. until Labor Day, there will be plenty of time for everyone to take a dip and cool off throughout the summer.
Additionally, the park will serve families with children who have special recreational needs, dedicating an hour from 10 to 11 a.m. on Tuesdays exclusively for them. This reflects the city's commitment to inclusive fun, ensuring that all children have the opportunity to enjoy the water features in a comfortable setting.
