
The Maui Police Department has turned to the public for help in the search for 57-year-old Rowland Ramos, a resident of Wailuku, who has been missing since last Saturday. Ramos was last spotted on the same day, after attending a medical appointment, but has not made any subsequent contact with family members. Concerned for his well-being, his family reported him missing to the authorities, according to the Maui Police Department.
Ramos, who is of Filipino descent, is described as 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighing approximately 145 pounds, with a bald head and brown eyes. On the day he went missing, he was last seen wearing a grey tank top and blue shorts. Notably, he does not have a vehicle or any means of communication, such as a cellphone. In a statement posted on their official Facebook page, the Maui Police Department is asking for any information that could help locate him.
The urgency of this matter is not taken lightly by the local community and the Maui Police Department, which asks that those with knowledge of Ramos's current location immediately get in touch by calling their non-emergency number at 808-244-6400. In the case of an emergency, they urge callers to dial 911 and provide the reference to Maui Police Department report number 25-012917.
