The Metropolitan Police Department is currently probing a fatal shooting of a juvenile that unraveled in Northwest Washington. The incident, which claimed the life of a young male, sent shockwaves through the community as the authorities released the details surrounding the tragic event.
On Thursday afternoon, Third District police officers hastened to the 900 block of Florida Avenue, Northwest in response to the sound of gunfire. They discovered a juvenile, later identified as 17-year-old Angel Ernesto Dominguez, unconscious and with gunshot wounds. Despite extensive efforts by the DC Fire and EMS to save his life, Dominguez was pronounced dead at an area hospital, as detailed in a statement from the Metropolitan Police Department.
