Mayor Daniella Levine Cava, in coordination with the Board of County Commissioners and other key officials, will be addressing the community tomorrow. The aim of the press conference is to underscore the significance of readiness for the extreme weather conditions that often batter the region.
The Mayor and her team will outline strategies for securing homes, families, and businesses against the perils of nature's fury. According to a statement on Miami-Dade County's official website, the message will cater to all residents with simultaneous translations in English, Spanish, Haitian Creole, and American Sign Language. DEM Director Pete Gomez and representatives from the National Weather Service will also be present to contribute expert perspectives.
