The incident in question unfolded on Tuesday, May 13, at approximately 4:40 p.m., when 3rd District officers were summoned to the Aldi's situated in the 12000 block of Cherry Hill Road. An individual had entered the store, pilfered items, concealing them in his backpack, and then boldly exited the store brandishing a knife.
Described as a Hispanic male in his 20s or 30s, about 5-foot-5 with a thin build, the man was dressed in a black t-shirt, black pants, and sported a dark-colored backpack adorned with white markings. Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward to help bring the suspect to justice.
