Montgomery County Public Libraries are leveling up their digital game with a new mobile app set to launch this Friday, a sleek tool for library-goers who prefer their literature and a myriad of other resources at their fingertips.
As reported by officials, the app will be available on both Apple and Google Play platforms, making it universally accessible to the smartphone-toting public. The aim is to make the library's treasure trove of books, learning tools, and community events readily accessible to everyone.
“It’s free, easy to use and brings the library to your phone anytime and from any place. I encourage all Montgomery residents to download it and stay connected to everything our libraries offer, including books, events and opportunities for learning,” Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich told the press, emphasizing the app's user-friendly interface and its mission to keep residents connected to the educational and cultural offerings of MCPL, as noted by the Montgomery County Government.
