An Uber driver in Montgomery County, 56-year-old Janaka Manatunga, has been arrested on charges of sexual assault, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office. The alleged incident occurred near Market Street in The Woodlands, as reported by FOX 26 Houston. Manatunga was arrested after a report from a female victim.
Authorities are concerned there may be additional victims and have called on the public for more information. Detectives are investigating whether more individuals may have been affected during rides with Manatunga.
