A motorcycle accident in Elk Grove resulted in the death of a 42-year-old man. The incident occurred just before 11:30 pm on Waterman Road, south of Sheldon Road. Officers found the rider in the center median after he lost control of his motorcycle, as reported by the Elk Grove Police Department.
The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office will release the identity of the motorcyclist who died after leaving the roadway and striking the median, as stated by the Elk Grove Police Department. There were no immediate signs of impairment, which remain under investigation. Emergency responders were on the scene.
According to the Elk Grove Police Department on their Facebook page, they are asking anyone with information about a recent collision to contact their Traffic Bureau at (916) 478-8143. The department is working with the coroner’s office to investigate the cause of the accident and is seeking public assistance to help with the inquiry.
