
The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) is currently on the lookout for a suspect connected to an assault incident that took place in the Northwest region of the city. The public's assistance is being solicited to help locate the individual deemed responsible for the altercation.
As per the information released by the MPD, the assault happened on Wednesday, April 16, around 11:40 a.m. on the 1000 block of H Street, Northwest. Officers from the Second District were dispatched to the scene following the report of the incident. The victim, having sustained injuries during the event, required medical attention and was transported to an area hospital by D.C. Fire and Emergency Medical Services.
Authorities have obtained surveillance footage portraying the suspect, who fled the scene shortly after the attack. Visual aids capturing the suspect's appearance are available and are being disseminated by the MPD to facilitate the search. Members of the community who have any relevant information are encouraged to come forward.

The department is urging anyone with information about the suspect's whereabouts or identity to contact them.
