On May 13, a 56-year-old woman was apprehended by constable deputies in Northcrest Village, linked to a suspected drug distribution operation. Identified as Stephanie James, the suspect was stopped in her vehicle, where initial findings led to the discovery of various illegal substances. Providing details on the operation, a Facebook post by the Harris County Constable Precinct 4 reported the seizure of multiple narcotics, including crack cocaine and methamphetamine.
Conducted by Constable Mark Herman's Special Operations Unit along with the Texas Department of Public Safety, Criminal Investigations Division, the investigation took a turn when deputies found James in possession of substances such as oxycodone and Xanax during a traffic stop on Kuykendahl Road. Carried out with precision, the search of James' residence subsequently unveiled more narcotics and firearms, as reported by the Harris County Constable Precinct 4.
Quantities of seized substances included 70 grams of crack cocaine, 23 grams of methamphetamine, and an assortment of prescription drugs, along with 4 firearms, as informed by Constable Herman's team. "Stephanie James was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance. Her bond was set at $60,000.00 out of the 263rd District Court," detailed the Harris County Constable Precinct 4 post.
The constable deputies, alongside the Texas Department of Public Safety, have urged the public to remain vigilant and aware of such illegal activities. Engaging in community safety, the Harris County Constable Precinct 4 has launched a mobile app, "C4 NOW," admitting the public to live feeds on crime, as detailed in the same Facebook announcement.
