Authorities have arrested in the April shooting incident that injured two men in Northeast Washington, D.C. The Metropolitan Police Department confirmed the capture of a suspect linked to the violence that disrupted the relative peace of Gales Place on a Tuesday afternoon.
On Thursday, officers were called to the 1700 block of Gales Place Northeast around 1:50 p.m. after being informed of a shooting. On the scene, they found two men, still alert and breathing, suffering gunshot wounds. These individuals were quickly transported to receive medical care, luckily escaping with non-life-threatening injuries. This information came directly from the Metropolitan Police Department in a recent release.
Following an investigation, on May 29, 2025, police served an arrest warrant issued by the D.C. Buchanan now faces charges of Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun), which hints at the severity of the allegations.
