Constable deputies in Northwest Harris County, Texas, have disrupted a major luxury car theft ring after an investigation that started in April. Following tips, law enforcement conducted traffic stops and executed search warrants on properties and digital data to identify the suspects. Britton Molina and Jency Jimenez-Diaz were identified as the main individuals involved in the thefts, as reported by the Harris County Constable Precinct 4.
Last Saturday, deputies raided a home on the 15000 block of Day Trip Trail and seized over $100,000 worth of stolen sports cars. The vehicles will be returned to their owners. "Both suspects were arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle, Tampering with Identification Numbers and Forgery on a Title Document," as stated by the Harris County Constable Precinct 4.
Bond for Britton Molina and Jency Jimenez-Diaz has been set at $10,000 and $12,000, respectively, out of the 174th District Court. Authorities expect additional charges as the investigation continues.
