Yesterday morning, Novato Police Officers responded quickly to a 911 call in the area of Entrada Drive and Lilac Place, where an elderly man was discovered on the ground, unresponsive. Immediate attendance by both the police and the fire department paramedics couldn't undo what was already done. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Marin County Sheriff's Coroner’s Office has begun to delve into the investigation, as stated in a report by the Novato Police Department.
As is commonly practiced in such sensitive circumstances, the man's identity is held close for now. Authorities are working with the Marin County Sheriff's Coroner’s Office to notify the next of kin before releasing further details to the public.
